NEW YORK STATE TARGETS UK TRAVELLERS FOR 2008

21.09.2007 — New York State Division of Tourism will bring it’s largest-ever tourism delegation to World Travel Market 2007 to further develop its relationship with UK tour operators.

Markly Wilson, director of international marketing for New York State, said, “Recent market research undertaken in the UK has validated the direction of our marketing efforts and the importance of the UK market. More and more UK visitors are combining a visit to New York City with travel upstate and enjoying the scenic beauty, food and wine, fishing and outdoor activities that we have to offer. “

“This year tourism representatives showcasing the diverse regions of New York State including the Adirondack Mountains, Long Island, the Hudson Valley, the Finger Lakes and Niagara, will be present at World Travel Market to work with the UK travel trade to further develop the NYC+ product available to the UK traveller.”
